Privacy & Security Policy

1. Data collection & processing

• Document uploads: When you upload a file for reconstruction, it is processed strictly by our automated AI models and layout engine.
• Automated processing: Routine document processing does not involve human review.
• Account information: We collect email addresses for free-trial limits, contact replies, and (when enabled) user authentication and billing.
• Contact messages: If you use our contact form, we store your email and message so we can respond.

2. Data retention & deletion

• Instant processing: Documents are processed in real time by automated software.
• Auto-deletion: Uploaded source images and generated PDFs are automatically and permanently deleted from our systems within one hour of processing, or sooner after you download your result.
• No AI training on your data: We do not use your uploaded documents or personal data to train our AI models.

3. Third-party services

We use trusted service providers to operate RetypeToPDF. They process data only as needed to provide the service and under appropriate contractual safeguards.
